The SiteDrain C-186 is a prefabricated geocomposite chimney drain from AWD's C-180 Series, engineered for double-sided subsurface drainage applications requiring high compressive strength and high flow capacity. It is constructed by fully wrapping a high-performance perforated polymeric drainage core with a laminated nonwoven geotextile filter fabric that meets AASHTO M288 Class 2 subsurface drainage requirements. The bonded geotextile prevents soil intrusion while allowing water to freely enter the core from both sides, flowing uninterrupted to designated drainage exits.

With an in-plane water flow capacity of 21 gal/min/lf, the C-186 delivers superior hydraulic performance compared to standard chimney drain products. It is a cost-effective solution for vertical installations at discrete intervals — ideal for retaining walls, MSE walls, shoring walls, bridge abutments, and other civil drainage applications where spot drainage with high-flow performance is required.
